Upgrade Home Services repairs and installs heating, air conditioning and water heaters in Campbell, including wall heaters, furnaces, heat pumps and mini-splits. We recently replaced a single-sided wall heater in a Campbell home. Campbell gets its electricity from Silicon Valley Clean Energy, whose heat pump rebates may apply as of November 2026.

Which heating and cooling services do Campbell homes need?

We work on central systems and on room-by-room wall heaters alike. Browse a hub, or choose one of the services Campbell owners call about:

What did we do on our Campbell wall heater job?

We replaced an older wall heater near a bathroom with a new Williams single-sided wall heater. A single-sided model heats one room from the wall it is mounted in. The new unit was set up and ready to give the household steady, dependable heat in the colder months. Read the Campbell wall heater project for photos.

If your home heats with wall units and you would like cooling too, a ductless mini-split or a heat pump may be worth comparing. We explain both in a free estimate.

Who provides electricity in Campbell, and are there rebates?

Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) provides electricity in Campbell; Campbell is on SVCE’s list of member communities. Its home rebates page shows these standard rebates as of November 2026:

  • A heat pump heating and cooling system that replaces a gas furnace or an electric resistance heater, which can include some electric wall heaters.
  • A heat pump water heater, when it takes the place of a gas or electric resistance tank.

SVCE’s page lists extra city-funded rebates for a few other cities, but Campbell is not one of them. The standard SVCE rebates still apply. You may qualify; call us and we’ll check what applies to your house and equipment.

What should Campbell homeowners know about permits?

The City of Campbell’s Building Division issues permits for all construction in the city and checks that work meets code. Permits are filed and inspections are booked through the city’s MGO Connect portal. For a new furnace, heat pump, AC or water heater, we take care of the permit and the inspection, plus any HERS testing the job calls for.

The same page notes a local rule. On September 3, 2024, Campbell adopted an Air Quality Ordinance that bans appliances giving off NOx (a combustion pollutant) in new buildings and substantial rebuilds. It covers space heating and cooling, water heating, cooking and clothes drying. The page describes it for new construction and substantial rebuilds, not for swapping equipment in an existing home.

What do Campbell homeowners ask us?

  • Can you replace a wall heater in the same opening? Often, yes, when a matching size is available. We measure and check the venting first.
  • Does Campbell’s new ordinance mean I must replace my gas furnace? Not by itself. The city describes it as applying to new buildings and substantial rebuilds.
  • Do you clean dryer vents in Campbell? Yes: $130 for a standard vent and $175 for two-story homes.
